Spectacular Ballet performance!

Watching GISELLE at La Scala di Milano was always a dream of mine. The Ballet Company of Teatro alla Scala is one of the oldest and most renowned ballet companies in the world, founded at the inauguration in 1778.

I was lucky to see two of the world’s most glamorous Ballet Stars on stage Svetlana Zakharova, Prima Ballerina from Bolshoi in Moscow and Étoile of Teatro alla Scala, together with her elegant partner David Hallberg from the American Ballet Theatre. That is a very special treat for all ballet lovers.

Sechs verschiedene Besetzungen in Zürich!

Meine erste Frage ist immer „Wer tanzt die Hauptrolle?“, bevor ich Tickets für eine Ballettaufführung kaufe. Ich habe meine persönlichen Vorlieben, bin aber immer offen für vielversprechende Neuentdeckungen.

Jetzt zeigt das Ballett Zürich 6 verschiedene Solistenpaare, die die Rolle der Giselle und des Herzogs Albrecht tanzen. Was für eine Auswahl!

Jede Primaballerina oder jeder Primaballerino haben – wie jeder Mensch – ihre ganz eigene Persönlichkeit, Körperbau, Ausdruckskraft und Bewegungsrepertoire. Selbst wenn die Schritte genau die gleichen sind wie das beim klassischen Ballett vorgeschrieben ist, bringen die Tanzenden ihre Individualität ein. Es ist immer wieder erstaunlich zu sehen, wie unterschiedlich das sein kann. So hat jede Vorstellung ihre eigene Faszination. Und wir können öfters ins Ballett gehen und die feinen Nuancen der verschiedenen Besetzungen geniessen😀
