You have been dancing with Ballet Zürich since 2014/2015. When did you start choreographing? How did you learn the art of choreography? What were your challenges?
I like to engage in some type of creative work, particularly visual art. Some people see dance through emotions, some people as a transcript of the music. To me, dancing is a visual craft that is supported by music.
Der beliebte Weihnachtsklassiker mal ganz anders erzählt – kein Nussknacker, kein Mäusekönig, kein Drosselmeyer, dafür neue spannende Charaktere. Wunderbar getanzt vom Béjart Ballett Lausanne. Und das berühmte Pas de Deux in der Originalversion von Marius Petipa am Ende verzaubert ohnehin das Publikum.
Maurice Béjart’s Version vom NUSSKNACKER ist eine Hommage an seine Mutter, die starb, als er 7 Jahre alt war. Béjart entführt uns in die Fantasiewelt seiner Kindheit, in der all seine Träume, Sehnsüchte und Imaginationen wahr werden. Die Helden seiner Kindheit dürfen dabei nicht fehlen: Felix, die Katze, Mephisto aus Goethes Faust und natürlich Marius Petipa, Meister des klassischen Balletts und sein Idol. Um seine französische Herkunft nicht zu verleugnen, fügte Béjart französische Songs ein. Lisa Biard begleitet mit ihrem Akkordeon die einzelnen Szenen musikalisch und verbindet so die Handlung.
